Scheduled
treatment date: July 13, 2009
Water restrictions ended: July 19, 2009
Restriction Information:
WITHIN 1⁄4 MILE of herbicide treatment locations: For owners
of property or water intakes within 1⁄4 mile, there are restrictions
on the use of the treated water. These restrictions are based on
studies which determine the breakdown of the product and provide
substantial safety margins beyond the known breakdown period. The
following use restrictions must be observed starting July 13, 2009:
- NO human consumption (drinking)
- NO food crop or pasture irrigation
- NO landscape watering
until herbicide residues reach Environmental Protection Agency
(EPA) minimums.
SWIMMING AND FISHING IS OK!
Use of DMA 4® IVM in other bodies of water has shown that
these restrictions may be lifted when water testing reveals the
concentration of the herbicide has fallen below 0.07 parts per
million (ppm). You may remove posted signs when restriction has
been lifted.
To find out when restrictions are lifted in your area, you can
