The liquid aquatic herbicide DMA 4 IVM® Active Ingredient: 2,4-D (2,4-Dichlorophenoxyacetic acid, dimethylamine salt) will be applied under permit during this project. This is a selective broadleaf herbicide that has been used with great success on other lakes. The following precautions are to be followed, especially for those that may be sensitive to herbicides:

• Do not use water from treated areas for human consumption or irrigation other than non-food crop areas or those crops or plants labeled for direct application for 96 hours from the time of treatment.

Details of treatment time and the end of use restrictions will be announced on this web site.

There is NO restriction for swimming, fishing, livestock watering, or non-consumptive domestic uses.
