Invasive and nuisance plants decrease property values and revenues from recreational uses of water bodies. Lakeland Restoration works closely with government entities to perform invasive and nuisance plant treatments. Lakeland has worked with Avista Corporation restoring habitats since 2011, both aquatic and terrestrial.
Lakeland Restoration provides a complete and extensive treatment process, ensuring accuracy and validity. Our staff can obtain and manage NPDES permits to perform whole lake treatments. Meetings can be organized to inform and educate the public prior to treatment. Biometric and point intercept surveys are performed as well. Target plants are identified and then mapped. Treatment plans are created and management programs are conducted. Final reports are submitted for all completed projects. Lakeland can also provide services to manage rivers and restoration projects.
